East boys lacrosse has been plowing through the competition this year. Currently undefeated both season-wide and in the Dukane Conference, the boys lacrosse team has become a key team in the brackets heading into their 2025 championship season.
The team coached by Mike Black and led by seniors Dallas Herman, Ryan Wilko and Ryan Wilmont, has been climbing up the rankings, placing them at 15th in the state.
Their season has been nothing short of impressive, taking down strong competition such as Hinsdale Central and St. Charles North with ease.
In seasons leading up to this year, the team has been just shy of reaching Sectionals with less than ideal records, however, this year has proved the Fighting Saints to be a prime contender in this year’s state championship.
