Stranger Things season 5 was well worth the wait and anticipation. On Nov. 26th, 2025 Volume 1 of the popular Netflix series, Stranger Things premiered with the first four chapters titled as “Chapter One: The Crawl,” “Chapter Two: The Vanishing of Holly Wheeler,” “Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap,” and last but not least “Chapter Four: Sorcerer.”
The series is well known for things such as conspiracies, gore, and engaging plot lines. And I will say this season has checked off all those boxes and more, which left me shocked after every chapter. The gore scared me, to be frank, with how detailed everything was and the plot is very chilling this season. It connects so well with previous seasons and in a way, everything clicks into place.
Although there were only a handful of new characters, old characters from previous seasons that were considered side characters became important to the development of the plot. An example of this is the rest of Nancy and Mike Wheeler’s family, primarily their younger sister, Holly, having bigger parts in the show. Which I think added depth to the plot line.
Overall, I enjoyed watching Volume 1 and I’m looking forward to watching Volume 2 coming out on Dec. 25th and the Finale on Dec. 31st, 2025.
